Reconstitution Guidelines
This product is supplied as a lyophilized powder and must be reconstituted before use in research applications.
Recommended Procedure
- Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening.
- Using a sterile syringe, add the appropriate volume of bacteriostatic water (BAC water) to the vial.
- Direct the stream against the glass wall of the vial — do not inject directly onto the powder.
- Gently swirl the vial until the powder is fully dissolved. Do not shake vigorously.
- Once reconstituted, store the solution as directed on the product label.
Storage After Reconstitution
- Refrigerate at 2–8 °C for short-term storage (up to 30 days).
- For longer storage, aliquot and freeze at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
